Stops along the way:

  • Casablanca is perhaps the best place to experience modern Morocco.
  • Hassan II mosque – Casablanca The largest mosque in Africa
  • Rabat is the capital of Morocco and is a place which combines modernity and traditions beautifully. Dinner will be served in a riad you will spend the night in.

Main stops along the way:

  • Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V
  • Meknes to visit Volubilis and  to visit the Roman ruins
  • Fez for dinner and the night in a riad.

A day in Fez:

  • Fez is an Imperial City that has stood in the north of Morocco for a thousand years. Within its sturdy walls you’ll find the place where old Morocco still exists – in the elaborate architecture, the historic medina and the throngs of people that make their home here.

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour

  • Fez has the largest medina in the world, so go and get lost in a world from the past centuries. This is also the best place for shopping in Morocco.
  • We recommend to visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa, the Medina and the Kairaouine Mosque.
  • In the afternoon you can visit Fes El Jdid, or “New Fes” and the Museum of Moroccan Arts.
  • The night is spent in the riad and dinner is served there.

Main stops along the way:

  •  Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas.
  •  Midelt, “the apple capital” for lunch.
  •  Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the oasis.
  • All along the road stops in “ksars”, small villages.
  •  Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils.
  •  Erg Chebbi Hotel, you will have time to wonder around the dunes before the sunset. Dinner is served here and followed by an evening of music and the night in a Hotel.

Day schedule:

  • Camel ride to the dunes for lunch.
  • Enjoy the sahara desert as nomads.
  • Camel ride back for a night in the camp 

Main stops along the way:

  • Early morning wake up to watch the most unforgettable sunrise.
  • Camel ride back to the camp site in Merzouga. You will meet with your guide and continue your road journey.
  •  Tinghir and the Toudgha gorges for lunch.
  •  Toudgha Valley to walk through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorges.
  • Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges for the night in a hotel.

Main stops along the way:

  • Boutarar to visit Berber nomads in their caves and partake of a glass of tea with them.
  • Valley of the Roses (Kelaa M’Gouna) is the centre of Moroccan roses and rose products. Acres of Persian roses are grown and harvested here to create rose water, creams and soaps.
  •  Skoura, to visit Kasbah Amredil.
  • Ouarzazate where you will stay in a riad or guest house.

Main stops along the way:

  • Ouarzazate cinema studios – the world’s largest film studio.
  • UNESCO  Site – Ait ben Haddou. This Kasbah is the most impressive and well-preserved fortress cities in Morocco.  The Gladiator or Game of Thrones were filmed here.
  • The High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass. Lunch is served here.
  • Evening arrival in Marrakech

To visit in Marrakech:

  • Djemma El Fna with its juice stalls, dried fruit and nut stalls, women applying henna, snake charmers, story sellers and the myriad of nightly food stalls.
  • The Majorelle Gardens which belonged to Yves St Laurent and is famous for its special shade of blue
  • The Koutoubia Mosque,
  • El Bahia Palace which means “the palace of the beautiful”,
  • The Qoranic School, the Ben Youssef Medersa which used to house some 80 Qoranic students and the
  • Saadian Tombs.
  • You will spend another night in your riad.

Your guide will transport you to the airport.

PRACTICAL INFO

  • This tour is private.
  • Departure at : 8:00 AM. You will be picked up at your hotel/riad in Casablanca in a 4×4 cruiser.
  • Included: some meals, some accommodation, 4×4, driver, fuel and camel ride
  • Not Included : Tips, tickets, alcoholic and soft drinks, travel insurance.
  • Drop off at your hotel/riad the 10th day in the evening.
  • We require a 20% deposit before hand to confirm your booking for the tour, via Paypal, Revolut, Transferwise or Bank Transfer
  • Money back if cancelation 30 days before the tour starts.
  • In regards to accommodations, when you contact us, we will send you an email with the list of accommodations you will be staying in.
