- Cash is the preferred method of payment across most of Morocco as very few traders have card facilities
- We’d expect you to know this already, but when you’re buying something in Morocco, haggling is the name of the game. And it is a game, don’t get highly offended if someone offers you something at ten times its value, make a counter bid!
- Coin purse are good to take, as you will need small amounts of money for photos ,snacks, tips, and toilets ” 2 Dirhams”
- There are numerous pharmacies in Morocco, though it is advised that you get a prescription from your doctor before you leave if you need regular medication. If you feel ill but don’t think it’s serious enough for a hospital, visit a pharmacist will usually be able to help you, and recommend a doctor if you need one.
- Morocco is predominantly a Muslim country (though a more socially liberated one than many others), so please be aware that some behaviour that is acceptable at home is not permitted here. Dress is usually more restrained.

In regards to accommodations when you contact us we will send you an email with the list of accommodations you will be staying in. They will all be approved Pension type hotels which have been rated as having a good and comfortable stay. During the one night stay in the desert we will offer a glamping style tent with good conditions which allow you to get the true experience of the Sahara. How ever there is the option of staying in luxurious hotels for an extra fee, if preferable.
