  • Hassan II mosque – Casablanca  the largest mosque in Africa
  • Rabat is the capital of Morocco and is a place which combines modernity and traditions beautifully. Dinner will be served in a riad you will spend the night in.
  • A day in Rabat:
    • Visit the atmospheric old city, Medinas, Marketssouks, crafts sellers, Old Jewish Quarters.
    •  Lunch in a local moroccan restaurant
    • Visit the Roman ruins of the Merinid Tombs of the 14 century , the Royal PalaceMohammed V mausoleum and the Hassan Tower.

Chefchaouen

Famous for being a friendly, relaxed place to visit, ‘Morocco’s Blue City’ , welcomes people from all around to walk through the town and see the vividly painted buildings, alleys and even paths.

  • A day in Chefchaouen:

    Chefchaouen is somewhere where you can enjoy a real, authentic experience of Morocco, with traditional markets, hammams and restaurants to enjoy.

    Through a series of twists and turns, amongst the winding cobbled lanes, it’s possible to find steps that climb high above city level; bringing you to a breathtaking elevated view of the town and surrounding mountains. Take the time to walk around at your own leisure, it’s possible to find women serving fresh Maloui (a traditional layered pancake) drizzled in local honey from their doorstep. Or if you prefer to relax and take in the atmosphere, try nipping around the back of the main square to find one of the many restaurants with a terrace view, a prime people watching spot!

Main stops along the way:

  • Ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire.
  • Lunch will be taken in Meknes one of Morocco’s Imperial cities.

A day in Fez:

  • Fez is an Imperial City that has stood in the north of Morocco for a thousand years. Within its sturdy walls you’ll find the place where old Morocco still exists – in the elaborate architecture, the historic medina and the throngs of people that make their home here. Walking the streets of the old town of Fes will take you back in time.

  • Visit the tanneries, and many traditional workshops including stonework, jewellery, carpet, pottery and watch craftsmen at work. At no time on  tour will you be expected to purchase anything as this is a tour purely to enjoy the sights of Fes.
  • Lunch break
  • Visit Inania Medersa, Batha Museum, and Kairaouine Mosque, Andalusian Mosque and Moulay Abdellah Quarter.

  • Cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco)
  • The biggest and oldest cedar tree in AfricaAzrou and the famous artisanal workshop in this region and after

  • Midelt – night in a hotel

Stops along the way:

  •  Ziz gorges – a very fascinating and attractive site for visitors. Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the oasis.
  • Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils. Lunch will be served here.
  • Merzouga Desert Camp – your day will end with a desert camel trek with a guide.  The camels will take you to the highest dune for the most magical sun set you will ever see. You will spend the night in the berber camp in a private tent and dinner will be served around a campfire.

Stops along the way:

  • Early morning camel trek to the dunes to watch the most unforgettable sunrise.
  • Camel ride back to the camp site in Merzouga. You will meet with your guide and continue your road journey.

  • Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop
  •  Toudra Gorge known for rock climbing, where you can trek. You will spend the night here.

Main stops along the way:

  • Stops along the route of the thousand Kasbahs.
  • Dades Valley – a beautiful gorge carved  by the Dades River over centuries. You will rest here in a guest house.
  • Nomads’ cave to see the nomads who still use the caves as their homes and learn more about their ways of living.
  • Skoura Oasis – gorgeous palm grove.
  • Ouarzazate – this is the Morocco seen in a hundred movies and the gate to stunning Sahara.

Main stops along the way:

  • Ouarzazate cinema studios – the world’s largest film studio.
  • UNESCO  Site – Ait ben Haddou. This Kasbah is the most impressive and well-preserved fortress cities in Morocco.  The Gladiator or Game of Thrones were filmed here.
  • The High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass. Lunch is served here.
  • Evening arrival in Marrakech

The Guide will meet you at your riad/hotel and start your adventure in the famous gathering square of Djema El Fna.

You will visit:

  • Koutoubia Mosque, the most prominent minaret in Marrakech.
  • Saadian Tombs, not long time discovered, a 16th century Mausoleum built as a resting place the tombs of thirteen Saadian sultans.
  • 12th century Almohad Palace, with its famous carved gate, Bab Agnaou and the Bahia Palace built upon 2 acres of exotic gardens in the centre of the Jewish neighbourhood.
  • The oldest street of the old medina and the Ali Ben Youssef Medersa.
  • Majorelle Gardens – an enchanting garden in the heart of the “Ochre City”.
  • Essaouira, a combination of spectacular beaches, great sea and the almost constant tropical trade winds. The narrow winding streets are filled with the sound of Gnaoua singing, women in white haiks weave their way through the alleys of the old medina, and palm trees cast their shadows across the walls of white-washed houses.
  • One of the first places culture seekers should go is the Mogador Cultural Centre. Designed as a seagull flying over the town beach by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer is home to regular musical and dramatic performances.
  • The best place to find examples of the city’s heritage is in the Medina UNESCO World Heritage , a place that will transport you back in time. Seek out the imposing kasbah with its nineteen bronze cannons, take in the ornate carvings on the doors and walls of every street, see the synagogues and church or visit the souk.
  • Adventure a little further to find wonderful walks, horse treks and quad biking.
  •  Evening in a Riad

  • Departure at : 8:00 AM. You will be picked up at your hotel/riad in Fes in a 4×4 cruiser.
  • Included: some meals, some hotels, 4×4, driver, fuel and camel ride
  • Not Included : Tips, some meals, some hotels, tickets, alcoholic and soft drinks, travel insurance.
  • Drop off at your hotel/riad the 16th day in the evening.
  • We require a 20% deposit before hand to confirm your booking for the tour, via Revolut, Transferwise or Bank Transfer
  • Money back if cancelation 30 days before the tour starts.
