Day 1: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Day 2: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

Stops along the way:

  • Tichka Pass (2260m), the highest road pass in Morocco and Africa.
  • Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Pasha “Lords” of Marrakech and the Atlas, the Glaoui family, and which now stands in ruins after the last Pasha fled the country following the departure of the French.
  • UNESCO  Site – Ait Bin Haddou. This Kasbah is the most impressive and well-preserved fortress cities in Morocco.  The Gladiator or Lawrence of Arabia were filmed here.
  • Evening arrival in Dades Valley

Day 3: A day in Dades Valley (relax and trek)

Spend the day trekking and relaxing in Dades Valley located in The High Atlas Mountains.

  • Easy guided trek in Dades Gorge. Cross over villages, trek along the Monkey Fingers rock formations and recharge in the verdant forests.

Day 4: Dades Valley to Merzouga

Stops along the way:

  • Todra Gorge – the highest oasis in Morocco.  The gorge is cut into the ochre-coloured cliffs of the High Atlas.
  • Lunch break.
  • Merzouga Desert – the night will be spend in a Kasbah next to the dunes of Sahara Desert

Day 5: A day in Sahara Desert

Mains stops along the way:

  • Early morning wake up to watch the most unforgettable sunrise.
  • Option 1 : Desert trek into the dunes, cook lunch with a nomad and end your day sleeping in the nomad camp in the dunes.
  • Option 2: Visit Khamlia Village, enjoy traditional music performance and serve a traditional berber pizza followed by a tea served with a local family in the tent.
  • Afternoon Camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset.
  • Night in the berber camp in your private tent. Dinner  and breakfast will be served there.

Day 6: Merzouga to Fes

  • Breakfast in the dunes. 
  • Camel trek or walk through the dunes to Merzouga.  
  • Back to the car to follow the road to Fes.
  • Stop in Erfoud to see how fossils are worked into furniture and artefacts.
  • Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in the cedar forests.
  • Night in Fes

Day 7: Fes to Chefchaouen

Stops along the way:

  • Guided tour of Fes

  • Lunch break
  • Leave to Chefchaouen in the afternoon

  • Evening arrival in Chefchaouen

Day 8: A day in Chefchaouen

Today is a day to explore the city of Chefchaouen without your guide.

Chefchaouen is somewhere where you can enjoy a real, authentic experience of Morocco, with traditional markets, hammams and restaurants to enjoy.

Day 9 Chefchaouen – Casablanca

Stops along the way:

  • After breakfast you will embark on a long road journey to reach Casablanca.

  • Stop for lunch break and road photos along the way
  • Evening arrival in Casablanca. Riad/Hotel/Airport drop off.

  • Departure at : 8:00 AM.
  • Drop off at your hotel/riad the 9th day at 5:00 PM. Arrival time may also vary depending on traffic.
  • You can take pictures of women in the cooperative, but in the villages or on the road you have to ask to photograph people, or shops .
  • We recommend sensible shoes or trainers.
  • Cash is the preferred method of payment across most of Morocco as very few traders have card facilities
  • When buying something in Morocco, haggling is the name of the game. And it is a game, don’t get highly offended if someone offers you something at ten times its value, make a counter bid!
  • Coin purse are good to take, as you will need small amounts of money for photos ,snacks, tips, and toilets ” 2 Dirhams”
  • There are numerous pharmacies in Morocco, though it is advised that you get a prescription from your doctor before you leave if you need regular medication. If you feel ill but don’t think it’s serious enough for a hospital, visit a pharmacist will usually be able to help you, and recommend a doctor if you need one.
  • Morocco is predominantly a Muslim country (though a more socially liberated one than many others), so please be aware that some behaviour that is acceptable at home is not permitted here. Dress is usually more restrained.
  • We require a 20% deposit before hand to confirm your booking for the tour, via Paypal or Bank Transfer
  • Money back if cancelation 30 days before the Tour.

In regards to accommodations when you contact us we will send you an email with the list of accommodations you will be staying in. They will all be approved Pension type hotels which have been rated as having a good and comfortable stay. During the one night stay in the desert we will offer a glamping style tent with good conditions which allow you to get the true experience of the Sahara. How ever, there is the option of staying in luxurious hotels for an extra fee.
